OTHER PRP USES
Regen Medical Centers offers several other PRP treatment options that provide our patients with minimally-invasive, autologous alternative treatments for conditions like neuropathy. Platelet-rich plasma can also be used to reduce the appearance of scars and improve eyebrow thickness.

Platelet-rich plasma therapy can be used to treat symptoms of neuropathy caused by diabetes, vascular disease, alcoholism, and other diseases. PRP therapy can help alleviate and eliminate the pain associated with neuropathy, and most patients experience complete relief from their pain after the first or second platelet-rich plasma injection. PRP therapy is intended to alleviate and resolve pain through the body’s natural healing process, and can potentially have lasting results depending on the severity of the condition being treated. Results may vary.
Using PRP to treat neuropathy is considered an experimental treatment option and may not be the right choice for everyone. If you are interested in using PRP therapy to treat neuropathy, our expert staff will review your medical history, overall health, and the specifics of your condition and recommend the appropriate treatment plan based on these factors.
While it will not fully remove a scar, PRP therapy can be used to reduce the appearance of scarring. This treatment is most effective on smaller scars and can be used on its own or in combination with other scar removal treatments, like laser revision. Only a very small amount of PRP is required for scar revision treatments, so this treatment is usually combined with other platelet-rich plasma treatments.
Regen Medical Centers has been effectively using stem cell therapy since 2009. Our stem cell therapy uses adult stem cells rather than the controversial embryonic stem cells. Adult stem cell therapy is commonly used for facial aesthetic treatments, improvement in orthopedic or sports injuries, and to stimulate hair growth in patients experiencing hair loss. Adult stem cell therapy is considered an autologous treatment because the stem cells are harvested from the patient’s own fat or bone marrow.
PRP for Eyebrows
The same way platelet-rich plasma therapy can be used for hair rejuvenation on the scalp, it can also be used to restore thickness to the eyebrows. This is a great treatment option for patients who may have over-plucked their brows for many years and are looking to restore fullness to their brows. PRP therapy for eyebrows may be less effective for patients who have naturally thin eyebrows. Most patients will typically see results about two months after an injection session. Results may vary.
